Mangrove Housing is a not-for-profit organisation that has been assisting local communities to access affordable housing solutions since 1993. Mangrove Housing offers tailored services and solutions to a range of people in need. Annually the organisation assists over 2,000 people with their housing needs through the management of over 750 properties across Brisbane and the South East corner of Queensland.
The name Mangrove Housing is derived from modelling the organisation on the congruence that is seen in nature. Mangrove trees exist in clusters that actively link their roots together in such a way that each tree connects with each other tree and acts as a support to the entire group .
It is these collaborative lessons from nature that drive and underpin our service delivery.

COMMUNITY RENT SCHEME (CRS)
The CRS Program is State Government initiative designed to provide housing options that act as a transition to longer term housing/secure housing. Mangrove Housing leases both private rental and departmental-owned properties to provide to eligible Tenants. We manage over 100 properties under this program including units, houses and duplexes. COMMUNITY MANAGED STUDIO UNITS (CMSU)
The CMSU Program is State Government initiative designed to provide furnished housing that is affordable and appropriate for eligible people . Mangrove Housing manages over 65 units under this program. The program provides longer term and transitional housing options where rent is set at a proportion of household income. Click here for more

The LTCH program is State Government initiative designed to provide housing that is affordable and appropriate for eligible people.
