On Tuesday, December 14th, Mangrove Housing hosted its second Tenant Christmas Event in Cleveland. This heart-warming occasion brought together our clients from Redlands, Wynnum, and Beenleigh areas, creating an atmosphere filled with joy and festive spirit.
The smiles on our tenants' faces were priceless when they received free Christmas hampers and age appropriately selected toys for their children. The event, attended by over 200 tenants, aimed to spread holiday cheer and alleviate some of the stress associated with the festive season.
The festivities were not in short supply, with a range of free activities for all to enjoy. From face painting and lucky dips to free haircuts provided by the Jack Reed Foundation, the day was brimming with laughter and excitement.
As one tenant expressed,
"Just a big thank you to you and all the staff for all the work you put into yesterday... just to make this such a special day for all your clients... I'm not sure if you are aware of how much we appreciate that... it was a wonderful day... just to see all the little people having so much fun.”
This year, Mangrove Housing delivered an impressive 450 hampers and 460 gifts for children, making a substantial impact on the lives of those in need. We are proud to have provided a day of joy and celebration, ensuring that the holiday season is a little brighter for our tenants.
At Mangrove Housing, we understand the challenges the festive season can bring, and events like these are a testament to our commitment to making a positive difference in the lives of our community. We look forward to continuing this tradition of giving back in the years to come.
