All tenants will be provided with keys to a property when a tenancy commences. Once you have keys to your new home please keep them safe. 

 

lost or stolen keys

If your house keys are lost or stolen, please report this to

Mangrove Housing immediately so we can arrange for new

keys to be cut.  The cost of each new key is $6.50 and this

cost is charged to the tenant.

additional locks

Tenants may not install additional locks (or security devices

such as chains) without the permission of their Client

Housing Worker.

new locks

If a lock needs to be changed, this must be done

professionally by a qualified locksmith and, depending

on circumstances, the cost may be the responsibility of

the tenant.  If this is required, tenants can discuss this

with their Client Housing Worker. 

 

If a tenant changes locks in an after-hours emergency, Mangrove Housing must be provided with keys on the next business day.
