Established in 1993, Mangrove Housing is a well respected Tier 2 nationally registered Community Housing Provider and a registered charity with Public Benevolent Institution (PBI) status.  


Our name is derived from modelling the organisation on the congruence that is seen in nature.  Mangrove trees exist in clusters that actively link their roots together in such a way that each tree connects with each other tree and acts as a support to the entire group. It is these collaborative lessons from nature that drive and underpin our service delivery.  

 

We provide services from a person centered, case management framework. Our focus is always on the unique needs and goals of each individual.   Mangrove Housing ensures every client is assigned their own Client Housing Worker who will work with them to set goals, create strategies for change and link them to wider community supports and services.

In recognition of the significant benefits of place-based services Mangrove Housing has taken the initiative to decentralise our service locations to better support the geographically dispersed areas within which we provide assistance.  We now have office locations in Beenleigh, Wynnum, Redlands and Cleveland.
